Here are all of the right answers to the Frayer models!
As you all know, we have a test over the eight terms you have been studying for the last week. Today we worked with Frayer Models to make study guides. I have attached the two examples that we did in class together.
Today was a full day! We worked on our DGP without the usual notes, practiced a few CRCT questions, and worked on combining sentences with conjunctions.
Your homework is to continue studying your notecards. You will have a quiz over the terms next Monday.
Don't forget to be studying you notecards.
Here are the definitions for each of the eight terms:
Today, we started worked on coordinating conjunctions. I will post the notes tomorrow after we talk about the subordinating and correlative.
2nd, 3rd, and 4th periods need to complete workbook pages 37 and 38.
You will have to do three things:
1. Write the definition for simile, metaphor, hyperbole, alliteration, and onomatopoeia.
2. Identify examples of the terms mentioned above,
3. Write examples of the terms mentioned above.
STUDY!
Today, we talked about hyperbole,alliteration and onomatopeia. Tomorrow, we will spend some time discussing similes and metaphors.
There will be a quiz over the four terms mentioned above on Monday. I will post the notes we will finish taking tomorrow.
