Lab Due Tuesday, January 29

Purpose:  Does the temperature of water affect its density, when floating an egg?

We did a lab last Friday, testing 3 different types of salt and how the density was different for each.

At home, I want you to test room temperature water, hot tap water and cold water left in the refridgerator overnight.  Use Friday's lab as a basis to write up this one.  You will need to make changes to each section accordingly.  Please use regular table salt, which everyone should have and an egg.

This will need to be typed or written in ink.  We'll discuss this in class and I'll answer any questions then :-)

In your conclusions, discuss how this relates to ocean water!
