Complete WEATHER Category from Skills Tutor- show me the grade- then do the following:

Using the sheet I give you in the minilab on Monday, answer the questions as you follow the Tornado simulation first, then the hurricane simulation.  When you finish, turn it in to me and go back to the EDHEADS site from the other day on weather prediction, etc.

Minilab Tuesday

First- Go to Skills tutor.  Log in as normal and go to the bottom of the listings..click..

Find Science I -click on The Atmosphere-Read, then do the test. You only have one chance to take the test, so don't take it until you're sure you're ready.  Show me the grade when you have finished with this section!

Then, log onto http://www.scholastic.com/kids/weather/.  In your spirals, list the temperatures and humidity for each weather situation you create.

Next, try this one!  http://www.edheads.org/activities/weather/  Just click start and follow the directions.

Hydrology Comic

You are a superhero water droplet and are fighting the evil of global warming.  You must go through all three stages of the water cycle at some point during your comic!

You have a minimum of 2 sheets and this is due on Friday, February 22.

Benchmark Tuesday, February 12th

Benchmark Test for Hydrology is Tuesday, Feb. 12th.  Students have a study guide and a crossword, and we have reviewed in class.

NASA will be doing a program for the 6th grade Tuesday during 4th period in the theater.
