Math Unit 7 Solid Figures

 Parents / Guardians

We will begin Unit 7 this Friday.  As I mentioned in the Fall, students will be using small solid figures to explore volume and surface area of solid figures.  It would be helpful if your student could bring in a regular size shoe box with their name on the top of it this week.  Put inside any small solid figures you may have saved in the last few months.  Objects can be cones, cylinders, rectangular prisms, etc.  If they have nothing - don't worry, I will supply them with all they need.  I have attached the unit parent letter so you know what we are working on.

Science Benchmark Test

Parents,

Students were given a study guide for their Meteorology benchmark test which will be given Thur or Friday this week.   I have attached a copy for you.  Please make sure they are filling in the answers in pencil.  I asked them to do the first 7 tonight.  It is due completed on Thursday.  We will complete some of it in class.

Thanks,
