Students will be working on an in class project next week called "Geobots." The attached instructions will be given to students on Monday. If you have any small shapes that students can use to make their Geobot, please send them in on Monday. Small boxes, cylinders, packaging material, etc. can be used to build the Geobot. If your student has nothing to bring in, materials will be given to them. It would be helpful for your student to bring in a shoebox to store their Geobot parts in.

Please have students complete their chapter 19 workbook pages this week for homework. That is pages 225 - 236. Next week we will begin workbook pages 237 - 252. The week after that we will complete workbook pages 253 - 266. I want to get these all done before CRCT begins on April 23.
Also, students have a "moon project" they are supposed to be working on nightly. All they have to do is look for the moon each day and log their observations. Students can look for the moon during the day or night. They have a sheet they are supposed to be filling in each night for 2-3 weeks. It shouldn't take more than 5 minutes each night to record their observations.
Parents/Guardians,
Students will soon bring home a study guide for their upcoming Meteorology Benchmark test. The test will be administered on 3/13 and/or 3/14. There is a link to the document in the blog. Please ask your child about this study guide and see if they can explain to you the answers. They won't know all the answers yet as we have not finished reviewing all the test material.
