Spring Musical is underway and the students are doing a MAGNIFICENT job. They are working very hard learning dances and acting. Once told a move or technique, they move forward to develop that technique into a bigger and better scene. I have not had to remind them once of any of the little things. They have stepped up more responsibly than any other class in the past. CONGRATULATIONS AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!
The show will be upon us before we know it. A schedule went home today of all the different before and after school rehearsals. Here is a copy: Download Rehearsal Schedule Tables2
Costume lists went out last week. The students are responsible for getting their own costumes. This can be done very inexpensively but going to Thrift Stores or remaking something in your closet. In case you are not sure of what style we the costumes should look like, I have attached a group of pictures. These are to give you an idea not ask you to go out and buy this specific pattern. In addition, we have skirts and some blouses at school that can be signed out on loan. Costumes are due April 26th. Download Cinderella costumes Download Costumes Ideas for Girls
Set Construction Day - we will paint sets and work on costumes on Saturday, April 17th from 9am - 2 pm in the Chorus Room. We need everyone's help with this. Please make arrangements to join us.
Sewing - we will need to make chef hats and aprons for the show. If you sew, please contact me so we can get this started.
Thanks for all the support you give to make our program so successful.
