tutoring
We are offering tutoring in 6B 3 every morning from 8 to 8:50.
We also have afternoon tutoring on Tues and Wed. from 4:15 to 5:15.
Your child must have a ride home promtly at 5:15.

Formulas!
We are currently working on area formulas!
Everynight your student has an accelerated math practice for homework. Please make sure your child underlines key words and numbers. They must also show their work!!!

last week before holidays
We are covering 1 step equations. The students have seen them throughout the semester, but we will focus on them this week. They will be completing the unit 4 study guide this week and testing on Thursday.

Unit 3 B test
Unit 3 b test will be given in 2 parts. Part 1 will be on Monday and part 2 on Tuesday.
We are carefully reviewing the study guide.
We are still continuing to review and reteach Unit 3 a and the benchmark.
Study sessions are every morning at 8 am!!!

We are reviewing the unit 3 test and the benchmark test a few problems per day to reteach. I am quizzing them a few problems at a time to test for mastery of the concepts.
Students have homework every night this week. Please check their agendas.

Tutoring
There is tutoring available every morning from 8:00 to 8:50 and every Tuesday after school from 4:10 to 5:00!!!
We preview upcoming material and remediate what the students do not understand.
Unit 4 starts tomorrow 10.28
We will beging studying rates, ratios, and proportions!
Look for the parent letter to come home tomorrow!
Fractions test today!
Students will take the unit 3 fracions test. We have been working extremely hard on this unit. Students have completed the study guide and practiced on the whiteboards. An opportunity to correct any missed problems for half credit will be given.
