I hope everyone does well on the test today. No homework tonight. Please bring your textbook to class tomorrow.

Scientific Method Test Tuesday

Just a reminder: we have a scientific method test on Tuesday. It will cover the Introduction pages in the textbook (up to page 14, I think), as well as the information in the notebook from the last week and a half.

Also, please be reminded that homework is due completed in class the day after it is assigned for credit. There are several that are struggling with getting work turned in. Please take a few minutes each night to review the day's lesson and complete any assignments.

I will post an updated notebook agenda on Monday. Have a great weekend!

Interactive Notebooks

Today we set up our Interactive Notebooks together in class. Thanks to everyone for bringing in their spirals! Please bring them to class everyday. I have uploaded the Table of Contents. It is current to date.Download table_of_contents.doc

Welcome to the new year!

Well, I thought today was wonderful. I enjoyed meeting all of you and am looking forward to a great year! I think the sixth grade teachers were right when they tipped us off that this was a really good group of students. I enjoyed seeing your bioglyphs that you made in class today. We'll put them in your notebooks later this week. Remember: (1) Get your syllabus signed tonight and  (2) get a Mead 5 Star 5 Subject Spiral Notebook for science by Wednesday. Also, a highlighter and a small pencil sharpener would be helpful to keep in science class.
