Oct 3-7

Math 6/7 will have a UNIT TEST on Integers on Monday. (Ch 11) We will start using the rules of integers with rational numbers(fractions) on Tuesday, then review the first nine weeks for the remainder of the week.

Math 6 will start addition and subtraction of fractions on Monday, and work the entire week on this standard.(Ch 5-Lesson 2,3,4). Review of this unit will be on Oct 10,and  the  the UNIT TEST on Tuesday Oct 11.

Sep 26-30

Math 6 started multiplying fractions yesterday, and we will continue thru Wednesday.  There will be a multiplication of fractions quiz on Thursday, then the students will start division of fractions.  (Ch 5 lessons 6,7,8,9).

Math 6/7 stated addition of integers yesterday, then took a quiz on it today. We introduced subtraction of integers and will work on it tomorrow and Thursday.  Multiplication and division of integers will follow this lesson.  (Ch 11)

Sep 19-23

Math 6 reviewed decimals today, and the UNIT TEST is tomorrow. Wednesday we will start reviewing fractions--Ch 4 lessons 4,5,6,7 and Ch 5 lessons 2,3,4,6,7,8,9.  This review will take most of the remainder of the nine weeks, then there will be a unit test on FRACTIONS.

Math 6/7 reviewed fractions and decimals today, and they have a UNIT TEST on both tomorrow. We will start the advanced part of this curriculum on Wednesday by introducing integers( Ch 11).

Unit 3A-Decimals & Fractions(Sep 12-16)

 Unit 3A covers Ch 3-lessons 1,2,3,5,6,7--Ch 4-lessons 4,5,6,7--Ch 5-lessons 2,3,4,6,7,8,9

Math 6/7 finished reviewing decimals and started on fractions yesterday.  We will be working on addition,subtraction,multiplication, and division this week.  The unit TEST will be next week.

Math 6 started comparing decimals,adding and subtracting decimals yesterday, and they will start multiplying decimals today. Division of decimals will be covered later this week.

 

Sep 6-9 Unit 2 continued

Math 6 will review greatest common factor today and take a short quiz on this standard. Tomorrow we will move to least common multiple, and the unit TEST will be Friday.

Math 6/7 will review least common multiple and also take a short quiz. The unit TEST for this class will be Thursday. Unit 3A will start with a review of adding and subtracting decimals on Friday.
