2.) Go to quizstar and make sure your username and password work. Take quiz. Quiz is due Friday. Remember, you get 2 attempts before your highest grade is sent to me. Follow the instruction listed here:
1.) Start out by going to http://quizstar.4teachers.org/indexs.jsp
2.) Next, enter your username (typically, first initial to first name and entire last name [ex. janderson]and password (lunch #)
3.) Then, click on "unfinished quizzes" link
4.) Then, click "take" for Personal Money Management Quiz -- the only quiz that should come up for you.
5.) Then, go through the prompts to start the quiz. YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO OPEN UP A NEW BROWSER PAGE TO http://www.themint.org/teens/starting-salaries.html IN ORDER TO TAKE THE QUIZ. THIS IS WHERE YOU GET THE INFO. NEEDED TO ANSWER THE QUESTIONS ON THE QUIZ.
A couple of key things to keep in mind before you begin the quiz:
1.) You must be registered on quizstar and you must be registered for the correct class. Please DO NOTregister for period 3 if you are in period 2 for example.
2.) Each student is given 2 attempts at the quiz before scores are sent to me. I did this to try to give you a little flexibility as we start this new adventure together. However, after the 2nd attempt, you are blocked from any additional chances.
3.) It appears that once you look at a quiz, it counts as an attempt. So, NO looking at the quiz and then deciding I don't have the time for it....UNLESS you don't mind that "sneak peak" counting as 1 of your 2 total attempts.
4.) The answers to each question are clearly stated on the mint.org site. However, you must read what I ask you to read on each of the questions, and make sure you follow the instructions carefully. Those who have done so have been making As or Bs.
